Light, elegant, with an exotic character.
Such is the Superform flexible plywood, crafted from exotic wood (Fuma/Ceiba), derived from deciduous trees native to South America. Its three-layer structure is bonded with a melamine-based adhesive, rendering it flexible and waterproof. The plywood sheets, sanded with 120-grit paper, can be coated with veneer, melamine, paint, PVC, or clear varnish, which imparts a wood tone reminiscent of pine or birch. Superform plywood presents an excellent appearance when finished with stain.
Superform is a plywood with enhanced moisture resistance (class 3 according to EN 314), which performs effectively in applications where low weight, formability, and durability under varying conditions are essential. The core, made from Ceiba wood—also known as Fuma—features a low density (approximately 350 kg/m³), which allows for lightening the overall structure. For this reason, the material is frequently selected not only for yacht construction but also for lightweight furniture assemblies, interiors with irregular geometries, exhibition elements, or curved wall claddings. The panel tolerates short-term contact with water and fluctuating air humidity well—it does not warp or delaminate. The 3 mm thickness is suitable as a substrate for veneers or as a face layer, while the 5 mm and 8 mm versions enable the creation of thin floors or furniture with gentle curves. The plywood meets formaldehyde emission standards (E1/E0), making it safe for use in interiors intended for daily occupancy—whether in a watercraft cabin or a residential setup.

Superform plywood is constructed from wood, thus its surface can be coated with various types of finishes designed for wood, such as stains, varnishes, waxes, and similar materials.
3 mm waterproof plywood should be machined in exactly the same way and using the same tools as traditional plywood. It can be cut, milled, nailed and screwed in. Due to its three-layer construction and low density, the material responds well to manual and mechanical processing, maintaining edge stability and resistance to stration.
Superform is used as:
If you are looking for a material that weighs little, tolerates water well and can be easily processed, Superform flexible plywood will meet these requirements.
